The city of Constance introduced the tourism and climate protection tax on April 1st, 2023. Overnight guests who are obliged to pay this fee receive the Bodenseecard West. With Bodenseecard West, you get a lot of discounts and even some free services.

Among other things, the Bodenseecard West is valid as a ticket in the entire district of Konstanz, Überlingen, and even Stein am Rhein.

These include city and regional buses as well as RB/RE/IRE/SBB/HZL/S-Bahn and IC trains (within VHB zones 1-5 + 33 in 2nd class) + Line 200 (to the Untertor stop, Switzerland)

Please note that animals are not included in the ticket.

The Bodenseecard West...

• is only valid in connection with a valid identity card of the person named on the BCW
